FLUSH WITH CURVES, THE SABINA COLLECTION BY MOSERFORM OFFERS A FORM FIT FOR WHAT’S HOT IN FURNITURE DESIGN TRENDS.
April 14th, 2009
A chair is a chair is a chair. But thanks to prolific designers like Thomas Moser, we are no longer confined to home furnishings that live up to such simplistic expectations! Battling tirelessly against the mundane and typical to insure that discriminating consumers can still find sophisticated, elegant forms in home furnishings, Tom Moser gives us design without constraint. Plying through a sea of overdone retro pieces and cheap knockoffs, his latest offering, MOSERFORM, cuts through the clutter with an Art Nouveau inspired furniture collection, Sabina, born from the collaboration of a team of designers, craftspeople and artisans. MOSERFORM’s Sabina Collection, conceived as a rebellion against the reign of modern, hard edge, rectangular design, harkens to the rekindling of Art Nouveau-inspired furniture featuring soft flowing lines and curvilinear forms, serving as a testimony to the fact that beautiful form, however interpreted, never goes out of style.

During initial concept phases for the Sabina Collection, MOSERFORM designer, Thomas Moser, predicted that Art Nouveau would once again become the vogue movement in home furnishings, and created his Sabina Collection in an effort to kick-start the wave. His vision has been supported by distinguished industry insiders, such as Brooklyn-based designer Christopher Coleman, was recently quoted in New York Spaces saying, “It’s even happening with woods, like deep mahogany and cherry. Thank goodness we are finally getting away from all that square modern furniture. Things are becoming more rounded and curved.” Coleman’s assessment is precisely what Art Nouveau, as interpreted through the Sabina Collection by MOSERFORM, is all about: authentic, timeless forms crafted without limitations.
